Part-Time Teaching Assistant (native french speaker)

We are looking for a Saturday morning Teaching Assistant to join our team in Colchester. You will play an essential role in supporting teachers and pupils to ensure a fun and 100% French-speaking learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons.
• Provide individualised support to students in difficulty.
• Supervise student activities during class time and recess
• Collaborate with the teaching team to implement differentiated teaching strategies.
• Contribute to the creation of an inclusive, stimulating and entirely French-speaking learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children (3-5 years old) preferred.
• Must be a fluent French speaker.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required; additional education training is an asset.
• Previous experience as a classroom assistant or similar role is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

This post is for Saturday mornings only. (The school is closed during school holidays).

Remuneration: £33 per Saturday morning.

Hours of work: 9am to 12pm Term-time only (see calendar on school website)
