Part-time Teaching Assistant (native french speaker)

We are looking for a Saturday morning Teaching Assistant to join our team in Colchester. You will play an essential role in supporting teachers and pupils to ensure a fun and 100% French-speaking learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons.

Provide individualized support to students in difficulty.

Supervise student activities during class time and recess

Collaborate with the teaching team to implement differentiated teaching strategies.

Contribute to the creation of an inclusive, stimulating and entirely French-speaking learning environment.

Qualifications:

Experience working with young children (3-5 years old) preferred

Must be a fluent French speaker.

High school diploma (or equivalent) required; additional education training is an asset.

Previous experience as a classroom assistant or similar role is preferred.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Commitment to student well-being and development.

This post is for Saturday mornings only. (The school is closed during school holidays).

Remuneration: £33 per Saturday morning.

Hours of work: 9am to 12pm Term-time only (see calendar on school website)
