Roles at Les Alouettes
Our Teachers are responsible for the education of our students and classes are typically of ten students or less. The Teacher will prepare and deliver quality lessons exclusively in French and in accordance with the guidelines set by the Head of School.
All Teachers are required to have teaching qualifications and experience relevant to the post.
Assistants have an important role in helping Teachers and engaging students during class. Assistants are expected to work with small groups of students as part of the delivery of lessons.
Teaching qualifications are preferred but not essential.
This role is remunerated.
Substitute Assistants will be available to cover absences and help supervise classes. Absences are normally planned and known of in advance. We are always in need of more Substitute Assistants.

Librarian
The Librarian runs our monthly library. They control the register of books borrowed and returned. This role is a volunteer role.
All Teachers send photocopying and printing requirements to a dedicated email address and an individual in charge of Photocopying will ensure that all documents are prepared ready for the class.

The members of the committee include the Head of School, Deputy-Head of School, Treasurer, Secretary and Heads of Teaching. With the exception of Heads of Teaching all Committee roles are volunteer roles.
